The day before the big festival is always a hassle. Siera, a coast town of sale and gamble. It is a fine, sunny summer day and the market center is in a fuss. Everyone is getting ready for the festival that's coming up in just few days, and the mood is already jolly.     Siera's traditional summer festival is the second biggest event in the whole country of Mirdany. It gathers people even from neighboring provinces, whether they come to watch the start of the yearly ship race, for the rare market goods or simply for the party.     Throughout the colorful masses of people, most present now are there for work. Mostly merchants and sailors fill the town, but some work is less legal than most.

Dear Diary, It's been a year now since the accident. It hurts my heart to return to that day in my mind. But I've been able to cope with my disability pretty well as of since. What saddens me most is my brother. I've learned to live in a wheelchair, but he still has to depend on me to be his eyes. He's learned braille though, and I'm glad of that.
